Notices/Info
- Beach Boardwalk: We are thrilled to announce that the boardwalk is clear & free of sand. This exciting news marks the beginning of countless leisurely strolls, breathtaking views, and memorable moments by the sea. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Patty Hetrick for kicking off the shoveling process during Super Bowl weekend & continuing to get the job done. Your dedication to clearing the sand was a great motivator to others. We also extend our sincerest gratitude to the recent shovel brigade over the past couple days consisting of Jessica Hoffman, Susan Hoffman, Sochi Murphy, Irene Ferrera, Mary Bolognino, and Mike Zaladonis. Your willingness to lend a hand and contribute to the community is truly commendable. I think I have decided it is easier to shovel snow back home in NJ : ) We thank the beachkeeper & his tractor for lending a hand shoveling as well.
With the boardwalk ready and waiting, let’s make the most of this opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings and create cherished memories together.
- Turtle Season: As we usher in the much-awaited turtle season starting tomorrow, March 1st, it’s crucial for us to ensure the safety and well-being of our beloved marine friends. To comply with the regulations and protect the nesting turtles, we kindly remind you of the following guidelines:
1. **Window Coverings:** Please keep all north, south, and east-facing window coverings closed from sunset to sunrise. This simple step helps prevent unnecessary light pollution on the beach, which can disorient nesting turtles.
2. **Backlighting:** Avoid allowing any backlights to shine directly onto the beach during the specified hours. This precaution is essential to maintain a conducive environment for nesting turtles and their hatchlings.
3. **Compliance:** Failure to adhere to these regulations may result in severe fines imposed by regulatory agencies on Villa Towers and individual unit owners. Let’s work together to prevent any violations and ensure the protection of our marine ecosystem.
Your cooperation in observing these guidelines is greatly appreciated, not only for the sake of the turtles but also for the preservation of our natural surroundings. - Upcoming RB election: Election Day, Tuesday, March 19th, 2024 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Singer Island condo association news from COASI:
Community Officers’ Association of Singer Island (COASI)
Fun Facts
Villa Towers turns 50 years old this year. Construction began in 1970 and was completed in late 1972. Our first owner closed on unit 729 on January 18, 1973. They were Dr. Winston & Alice Delaney. They were Alice (Debbie) Gittins’ Grandparents. She traveled with her Grandparents from CT for the closing. They had been staying at the Colonnades Hotel. Several owners followed, including our only original owners still here, Bill & Phyllis Faulman who purchase unit 230 in March, 1973. January 2023 marks 50 years of Villa Towers occupancy.
